Good News! Miss Yeap Discharged from Hospital!

LETTER FROM MISS YEAP'S BROTHER, MR YEAP HOOI CHONG

Dear BBGS OGA,

Kamala and I are happy to be able to inform you that we now have Ms Yeap Gaik Khoon, our sister, home with us in Seremban. We brought her home as she had been at the Shah Alam hosp for well over 14 months and that was indeed too long a time to have her stay there.

Miss Yeap was well looked after by BBGSian Bavani, her physiotherapist at Columbia Asia Extended Care Hospital

It is fortunate that through friends here in Seremban and KL we have  able to locate medical and physiotherapy facilities that she needs in and around Seremban.

Fortunately too our attendance to her needs at the Shah Alam hospital did give us relevant knowledge and some skills and we feel confident that we can look after her properly, here at home, so here she is with us and thus far she is doing well.

We take her to the Columbia Asia Physiotherapy Hospital, Seremban, five days a week for her 2 hour physio workouts and on Saturdays and Sundays, a physiotherapist visits her here at our home and gives her the exercises she needs.

We continue to be with her and give her our support as she goes through her exercises and we are most encouraged to note that she is now capable of a wider range of movements, so we are confident that she will become more self reliant in the not too distant future.

Kamala and I would like to thank you and the members of your Association for the support, encouragement and goodwill that you have given to us and our sister.

It has been a long time since you have left school and it has also been a long time since her 'accident' but she has remained close to your heart.

It is thoughts like this that had helped us through all those difficult days at Uni Hosp, KL and at the Columbia Asia Hosp. Shah Alam.

We are grateful to all of you and happy that our Sister had such fine students to care for and nurture during her professional years.

Thank you once again.

Yeap Hooi Chong and Kamala Yeap

  1. This is amazing news. Praise God. Miss Yeap, I'm really glad you're okay. I still remember all the advice you dispensed to me when I was head captain in 1990. You're one of the reasons I am who I am. May the Lord's angels continue to be with you and protect you. God bless.

  3. Physiotherapy is a branch of treatment that uses physical means to relieve pain, regain a range of movements, restore muscle strength and return patients to normal activities of daily living
